Philippines Watermarble

Hi guys! I'm back with another manicure for Watermarble Month. Today, I decided to do a design inspired by the Philippines' flag colours. If you've been watching the news, you would know that a massive typhoon hit the Philippines and was said to be the second deadliest Philippines typhoon. It killed at least 4000 people.
If you didn't know, I am actually from the Philippines and moved to Australia about 3 years ago. I have a couple of family members there but thankfully, they weren't hurt.

'Blue' and 'Purple' Watermarble

Hi guys! As you may have noticed from the title, I'm back with my 4th manicure for Watermarble Month. One of my close friends from Instagram, @nailpolishaddicted1 aka Ell Roczniak (Blog link here) suggested I do a Blue and Purple Watermarble. You may have noticed that I put apostrophes at the beginning and end of the colours. That is because I used a Blurple colour and a Pink toned Purple. I couldn't find any Blue and Purple polishes that worked with watermarbling in my collection :( I hope you guys still like this!

Pastel Blue, Pastel Purple and White Watermarble

Hi guys! I'm back with my 3rd manicure for Watermarble Month! For this mani, I chose a suggestion on Instagram that said 'Pastel Blue and Purple!' but I chose to add white because they weren't spreading well together :(

This design was SUPER easy to do! One of the easiest designs I've ever done. I just did the usual bullseye and then got my smallest dotting tool and dragged from the centre to the sides of the cup. Then, I aligned my nail and dipped :)

Products used:
Pastel Purple (I made my one by mixing an old purple with white polish)
Ulta3 'Soft Hydrangea'
Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear 'White On'
Dotting tool from 15pc brush set. Can be found on my links page

I don't know if you can see, but on my ring finger, the blue and yellow actually mixed and created green!

Blue Watermarble

Hi guys! So today, I just wanted to share with you my Blue Watermarble mani!
If you don't know what a watermarble design is, it is a design made by dropping drops of polish onto a cup filled with water and using a toothpick or dotting tool to drag the colours around and create a design. Some people don't enjoy this process because you have to choose the right consistency of polish and you have to experiment which polishes work and which polishes don't, which take a LOT of time! Also, the clean up is a PAIN for some people but for me, it's easier to clean up than a gradient mani because the colour doesn't seep underneath your cuticles, but that's MY opinion. I don't know if this happens to other people. If you still don't understand me, just click here for a tutorial by Mucking Fusser, the Watermarble Queen

Products used, Sinful Colors - Snow Me White, Ulta 3 - Soft Hydrangea and BC Co. - Shade 21.

Sadly, the polish kept spreading out WHILST I was doing the design so instead of getting clean. straight lines, I got wonky and uneven lines :(

So comment below, are you going to try this type of design? I hope you have a better result than mine if you decide to try watermarbling!

Anyways, I hope you liked this mani and thanks for reading!

First Post - Watermarble Nails

Yay! My first post! ^o^

So today, Ell from Nailpolishaddicted1 and I did Bestie Twin Nails! Basically, we choose a design or theme and we create a mani that follows that specific theme! We chose to do a Red and Yellow Watermarble Design! Elle did a leopard/cheetah design whilst I did a watermarble :)

Ell's Leopard Design next to my Watermarble Design

I used Sinful Colors - Snow Me White for the base, Revlon - Make Mine Mango and Face of Australia - Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy for the design and topped it with Sally Hansen New Lengths Ceramics - Urban Chic.

Solo Pic

Bad lighting, I know (¬_¬)

Ps. I'm not going to be posting for TWO WEEKS since I'm going to the Philippines! (≧◡≦) Be prepared for a haul post!

Thanks for reading! Bye for now :)
